The Job

You will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting directly with development teams within the organization. The position requires excellent communication skills, strong technical and debugging skills, along with a drive to make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality software design and architecture
• Collaborate with team to brainstorm and create new products
• Identify, analyze and troubleshoot program function
• Be a persistent, creative problem solver
• Passionate about great technologies, especially open source
• Review and debug code

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related technical field
• 3 years of experience developing commercially successful Python projects on Linux
• Experience with Docker virtualization
• Proficient with Linux command line and Linux administration (RedHat, Debian)
• Experience utilizing source code repositories such as Git
• Strong software troubleshooting skills and experience at the system level
• Natural team-player who can work seamlessly with engineers across the organization
• Excellent communication skills

Bonus Points

• Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related technical field
• Experience with networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, DNS)
• Demonstrable open-source commits
• Golang programming experience
• Network troubleshooting experience
• Deep Linux expertise
• Knowledge of network security, authentication, and authorization
